01 - Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Teen Money Academy website, enrolling in the program, and/or purchasing any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms Apply To

  • The Teen Money Academy website (teenmoneyacademy.com.au)

  • All courses, programs, and educational materials provided

  • All services offered by Teen Money Academy

  • All transactions and payments processed

02 - Australia-Only Program

2.1 Exclusive to Australia

Teen Money Academy operates exclusively within Australia. This Program is only available to residents of Australia, including all states and territories: New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania, Australian Capital Territory, and Northern Territory.

We do not offer this Program internationally, to non-Australian residents, outside Australian territories, or via international enrollment.

2.2 Verification of Residency

By enrolling, you confirm that you are an Australian resident, the student resides in Australia, you have an Australian address, and you are subject to Australian law. We reserve the right to verify residency and may cancel enrollment if residency cannot be confirmed.

2.3 Applicable Law

This Program is governed exclusively by Australian law, including:

  • Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth))

  • Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)

  • Applicable state and territory laws where the student resides

  • Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) regulations

2.4 Jurisdiction

All disputes will be resolved under Australian law. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts and waive any objection to venue. No international arbitration or foreign courts apply.

03 - Definitions

  • "We," "Us," "Our," "Company" — Teen Money Academy (trading as Coastal Crown Group)

  • "You," "Your," "Student" — The person enrolling in the program (if under 18, their parent/guardian)

  • "Parent/Guardian" — The adult responsible for a student under 18 years of age

  • "Program" — The 8-week Teen Money Academy course

  • "Services" — All educational materials, videos, worksheets, community access, and coaching provided

  • "Personal Data" — Any information that identifies or could identify you

  • "Enrollment" — The act of purchasing and registering for the Program

  • "Australia" — All states and territories of the Commonwealth of Australia

04 - Eligibility & Parental Consent

4.1 Age Requirem

  • The Program is designed for teenagers aged 13–18 years old

  • Students under 18 must have parental/guardian consent to enroll

  • Parental consent is required in writing (via enrollment form)

  • By enrolling a student under 18, the parent/guardian confirms they have authority to consent

4.2 Parental Responsibility

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their teen's use of the Program

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring the teen's compliance with these Terms

  • Parents/guardians are liable for any breach of these Terms by their teen

  • Parents/guardians must provide accurate contact information and be reachable for program communications

4.3 Account Responsibility

  • Each student must create a unique account

  • Students are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality

  • Students must not share login credentials

  • We are not responsible for unauthorized account access

05 - Educational Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Teen Money Academy teaches money habits and teen-level financial literacy. This is NOT financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

5.1 Not Financial Advice

We do not provide:

  • Financial or investment advice

  • Tax or legal advice

  • Professional financial services

  • Credit or loan advice

5.2 Educational Purpose Only

The Program is intended to:

  • Build healthy money habits

  • Develop financial literacy

  • Encourage long-term financial thinking

  • Teach basic financial concepts

  • Introduce age-appropriate financial awareness

5.3 No Guarantees

We do not guarantee specific savings amounts, investment returns, financial outcomes, credit score improvements, loan approvals, or any specific financial results.

5.4 Professional Advice Required

For specific financial, investment, tax, or legal matters, students and parents should consult qualified professionals: financial advisors, tax accountants, lawyers, credit counselors, or financial counselors.

5.5 Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any financial losses or gains, credit score changes, loan rejections, investment performance, tax consequences, or any financial decisions made based on the Program.

6.4 Price Changes

Prices are subject to change without notice. Changes apply to new enrollments only. Existing enrollments are not affected by price changes.

07 - Payment & Refunds

7.1 Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at time of enrollment

  • Payment is processed via Stripe (PCI DSS compliant)

  • We do not store credit card details

  • Payment confirmation will be sent via email

7.2 Refund Policy

Days 1–14

Full refund available (if course materials not accessed or less than one week completed)

After 14 Days

No refunds available. You retain access to all materials.

  • Email [email protected] within 14 days of enrollment

  • Include "Refund Request" in the subject line

  • Provide your enrollment details

  • Explain reason for refund (optional)

  • We will process within 5 business days, credited to original payment method

7.4 Consumer Guarantees

Under Australian Consumer Law, you have consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. Services will be provided with due care and skill, fit for purpose, completed within a reasonable time, and of acceptable quality. If we fail to comply, you may be entitled to compensation.

08 - Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Intellectual Property

All content provided by Teen Money Academy is our intellectual property, including course materials, videos and recordings, worksheets and exercises, graphics and design, text and written content, curriculum and methodology, and all branding and logos.

8.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Access the Program for personal educational use

  • Download and print materials for personal use

  • Use materials during the 8-week program

8.4 Your Content

Any content you create (worksheets, posts, etc.) remains your intellectual property. It may be used by us for improvement purposes, or shared in community/testimonials with your permission.

09 - Community Conduct & Code of Conduct

9.1 Community Standards

The Skool community is a safe space for learning. All members must treat others with respect, use appropriate language, avoid harassment or bullying, respect privacy and confidentiality, and follow all community guidelines.

9.2 Prohibited Conduct

  • Harass, bully, or threaten others

  • Post offensive, discriminatory, or hateful content

  • Share personal information of others

  • Spam or advertise products/services

  • Share copyrighted content without permission

  • Impersonate others or engage in illegal activity

9.3 Consequences

Violations may result in a warning or removal of post, temporary or permanent suspension from community, termination of enrollment, or legal action where applicable.

10 - Limitation of Liability

10.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by Australian law, we provide the Program "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy or completeness.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of profits, revenue, or data, loss of business opportunity, financial losses or gains, credit score changes, or any damages arising from use of or reliance on the Program.

10.3 Liability Cap

Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the Program — $1497 AUD.

10.4 Exceptions

These limitations do not apply to death or personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breaches of consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11 - Termination & Cancellation

11.1 Termination by You

  • Within 14 days for a full refund (see Section 7.2)

  • After 14 days with no refund

  • Email [email protected] with "Cancellation Request" in subject line

11.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate your enrollment if you violate these Terms and Conditions, engage in prohibited conduct, provide false information, are not an Australian resident, or engage in illegal activity or threaten/harass others.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the Program is revoked, your account is closed, you lose access to materials, no refund is provided (except within the 14-day window), community posts remain archived, and we retain your data as required by law.

11.4 Survival

The following sections survive termination: Intellectual Property (Section 8), Limitation of Liability (Section 10), Governing Law (Section 15), confidentiality obligations, and indemnification.

12 - Privacy & Data Protection

12.1 Data Collection

We collect personal data including name, email, phone, address, date of birth (age verification), parent/guardian information (if under 18), payment information (processed by Stripe), course progress and activity, and community participation.

12.2 Data Usage

We use your data to deliver the Program, process payments, communicate with you, improve the Program, and comply with legal obligations.

12.3 Data Protection

12.4 Your Rights

13 - Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Teen Money Academy from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the Program, your violation of these Terms or of law, your infringement of third-party rights, your conduct in the community, or any content you post or share.

14 - Changes to Terms

14.1 Right to Modify

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.

14.2 Notification

For material changes, we will notify enrolled students via email, post a notice on the website, provide 30 days notice where applicable, and allow withdrawal if you disagree.

14.3 Continued Use

Your continued use of the Program after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15 - Governing Law & Jurisdiction

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, including the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and applicable state and territory laws.

15.2 Jurisdiction

Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the Courts of Australia. You submit to the jurisdiction of Australian courts, waive any objection to venue, and agree that all disputes will be resolved under Australian law. No international arbitration applies.

15.3 No International Scope

If you are accessing this Program from outside Australia, you are not eligible to enroll, and these Terms do not apply to you.

Appendix A

Consumer Guarantees Under Australian Consumer Law

  • Services will be provided with due care and skill

  • Services will be fit for the purpose made known to us

  • Services will be completed within a reasonable time

  • Services will be of acceptable quality

If we breach these guarantees:

  • You may be entitled to compensation

  • You may request the service be redone

  • You may request a refund

  • You may pursue legal action

These guarantees apply regardless of what these Terms say. If there is any conflict between these Terms and Australian Consumer Law, the Consumer Law prevails.
